Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a natural mineral that builds strong teeth and helps prevent cavities. It has been an essential oral health treatment for decades. A professional fluoride treatment contains much more fluoride than what's in your water or toothpaste and only takes a short amount of time to apply.
What to Expect
A dental professional will apply the fluoride gel in special trays that will fit over your teeth or with a fluoridated mouthwash. After a few minutes, the fluoride solution can be rinsed out of the mouth and the treatment is complete. It is best to avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes directly afterwards so the fluoride can fully absorb.
